Homemade Fondant

Making you own Fondant might sound scary but it is not so start making your homemade fondant now.

110g marshmallows
25 g water
400g icing sugar
Possibly 1 TEASPOON. / 1 tbsp oil (depending on how soft you want your fondant)

Place marshmallows in a bowl of water and oil. Melt slowly over waterbath. You can also melt in the microwave.
When completely melted and no lumps, take the bowl from the bath and mix in 3/4 of the powdered sugar.
Add the remaining icing sugar on the table, pure fondant on top (it is very subtle) and knead it thoroughly.

If you used the microwave to melt the marshmellows please be aware that the mass might be really hot in the middle.
